Barcelona

On our bus ride to Barcelona, we stopped in Zaragosa for lunch.  We got to see a Cathedral that was bombed during the Spanish Civil War in 1936.  The crazy thing is, the bomb never went off.  There is a hole in the ceiling where it entered the building, but there was never an explosion!

When we arrived in Barcelona, we went downtown to hangout for a while.

We woke up early the next morning and toured more of Barcelona.  Our first stop was Gaudi Park.

His houses he designed looked more like gingerbread houses

They had beautiful flowers all around that the kids liked taking pictures in...

We left the park to go see Sangrada Familia (The Unfinished Church).  Another project by Gaudi.  They are hoping to have it finished in 20 years.  They have been building it for 120 years.  They have been working off of Gaudi's plaster molds in order to finish it they way he would have wanted.

After the church tour, we went to see the statue of Christopher Columbus

We didn't get to stay in Barcelona as long as we wanted because we had to take the bus to Toulouse, France to catch the overnight train to Nice!  That was an experience...
