Ladies Man

I don't know where he gets it, but I think my son is going to be a player.  He has been the little ladies man this week.

On Tuesday, I helped some friends of ours out by watching their two little ones.  Cody and Cade love playing with them, especially Darby who is two.  Well on Tuesday, Cade decided his attention was going to be on Darby's little sister, Scout.  He played with her all day and cried when it was nap time and he couldn't sleep in the crib with her.

He kept kissing her on the cheek every time she got close to him, she was probably getting a little annoyed...

Then on Wednesday, Cody had a baseball game so Cade got to play with Addison.  She is Cody's bestfriend's little sister so they see each other all the time.  Well Addison must have heard about Cade kissing on Scout because as soon as we walked up to the ball field, she ran over and kissed him.  Cade thought it was hilarious and decided to chase her around and get a few more kisses out of her...

wow, eyes closed and everything...a little too intimate at age two!

I'll make his daddy have a talk with him, I don't want him thinking he can be kissing on two girls at the same time!

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a busy weekend full of friends, food, and fun...

We went for bike rides

Played outside

had a cookout with friends

ate a lot of junk

hung out at the pool

his hair was covered with sunscreen so I gave him a mohawk!

played in the sprinklers in our underwear (Cody, not me)

and then passed out by 7:30 Monday night!

We hope everyone had as much fun as we did!

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day!

I hope everyone had a great day...I know I did!

My beautiful boys this morning

Cody promised me there wouldn't be any fighting today...so far, so good!

They even asked if they could take a picture with me.

It doesn't get much better than a great day with my boys!

Start 'em young

Let's face it, T.J. is getting old!  We have to start teaching the boys at a young age how to mow the lawn...

First you make sure it has gas (or bubbles in Cade's case)

you start out on the edge of the grass...

make a sharp turn...

head back up the opposite direction...

and repeat until the lawn is all cut...

or until you run out of bubbles, which ever comes first.

But nothing takes your mind off of empty bubbles like a frog!  Thanks Mr. Rusty for saving the day...

I can feel the love...

Most of the time they can't stand being in the same room together.  They fight, scream, pick on each other, etc.  I have always said they do this to get my attention.  When no one is looking, they actually really love one another.

The past few weeks (since Cody's surgery to be exact) they have actually been getting along really well.  For the most part.  Today, for some reason, they actually showed me how much they love each other.

Now this makes up for all the fighting, screaming, picking on each other, etc...

and this is just because he's pretty darn cute...

the boy loves pizza!

Now if it weren't for them, I probably would have lost my mind today.  Anything that could go wrong, went wrong...starting with our car.  More on that later though, I'm off to enjoy my happy boys tonight!
