Halloween 2009!

I have been waiting to post about all our Halloween stuff because, even though we have still done a ton like we normally do, all three boys haven't been together for pictures until tonight!  I didn't want to post pictures without all three of them.

So, here they are, my precious little men!

Thanks Grandma Sandy for making Cade's costume!  It was a big hit.  He kept having to pause for pictures from complete strangers!

Cade as the Tin Man

Cole as the Cowardly Lion

 Cody as the Scarecrow

and in case you forgot, here is a picture of my little guys last year...

First of many...

Cole got his first bloody nose last night at Cody's baseball game.  He was throwing a football with Cade and when he went down to pick it up, he tripped and landed on his face.  It's just a little scratch but it's still a first!

He's still pretty cute, bloody nose and all

Last night was also Cody's last t-ball game of the fall season.  He recieved his medal and an award for a hitting average of 1.000!  That's not too hard in t-ball but there were some kids who did actually strike out!

Now we need to start getting ready for basketball season.  I am also trying to convince my husband to put him in gymnastics for a while but he's not going for it.

Cole is Walking

Cole has been able to take a few steps here and there for a while now, but it wasn't until he hurt is arm that he really started trying (his poor arm hurt too much to put any weight on it).  We have a ways to go, and he still prefers to crawl when he wants to get somewhere fast, but it's only a matter of time before I'm chasing him around along with his older brothers.  I can be in a lot of trouble real soon...

Cade's undershirt

When we're at home, Cade likes to walk around in just his undershirt.  He says he likes to look like Daddy.  As soon as we walk in the door, he's asking for his top shirt off...silly kid!

Either way, he's pretty darn cute...

Uh Oh!

Boys will be boys...and fall off the couch!  That's exactly what Cole did Friday night.  He was playing with Cody on the couch and I guess they got rough and Cole ended up on the floor.  I was in the shower but TJ said he landed on his arm.  He couldn't put any weight on it at all when he crawled and so I watched it for the next few hours.  When it wasn't getting any better, I went ahead and took him into the after hours clinic.

They did some x-rays and came to the conclusion it's just a bad elbow sprain.  We are supposed to keep it wrapped up to cushion it and keep it as still as possible.  Yeah right...he's a year old!!  We are doing the best we can, keeping medicine down him and trying to keep him out of as much pain as possible.  If it's still hurting him this bad on Monday, I'm taking him to his doctor and see if they find anything else out since the swelling will have gone down a little (hopefully).

You can see his left hand is a little more swollen than his right, and a little more purple as well :(

But he's my happy boy and when he's drugged up, he can even hold light stuff in his bad hand...

Notice the binky...Gig 'Em Aggies!!

Baseball

This is Cody's 4th season to play baseball (we play both the fall and spring seasons).  He is finally getting at the age where it's fun to watch.  Don't get me wrong, it has always been exciting to see the little ones play but it's just a lot less chaotic now that they have an idea of what they're doing!

These pictures are a little blurry because my battery was dying but they're still cute nonetheless!

He's the blurry one

Cole has fun at the games, too

We play our first tournament in just a few weeks.  Let's hope their attention span will last that long...
